Deep
in the heart of the woods |
There'
a place I long to see |
Nestled
in amongst the tall cedars, Is a cottage that beckons to me |
In
the winter the cedars protect it, From winters cold blowing snow |
In
Spring and in the Summer, Caressed by the breeze that blows |
There's
a pond full of fishes, Children's laughter fills the air |
A
gazebo that is screened in, You can sit and meditate there |
There's
some trails around the pond, To enjoy on an afternoon walk |
While
you amble on your way, Doves & Blue Jays have a noisy talk |
They
chirp and twitter a happy sound, That will take away daily cares |
A
comforting tune that lingers on, And will follow you thru the years |
These
memories are with me forever, And of my life they became a part |
They
will live on eternally, Forever in my heart |
